The guiding framework within which we operate is about the adoption of a balanced approach to all environmental matters within the context of a commercial operation.
We continue to investigate a range of “green” options for our current developments.
The development of the Westgate Town Centre in the north-west of Auckland will, with the input received from Auckland Council and our own Consultants, contribute significantly to local and regional goals of managing and promoting a sustainable city.
Similarly, at Tauriko Crossing in Tauranga, plans for a new Shopping centre are well advanced and incorporate a number of “green” attributes, particularly in relation to energy use and water savings, while still chasing innovative design solutions.
In other urban locations we are involved with we continue to investigate and implement options to develop smart suburban centres, compact communities and mixed-use neighbourhoods focussed on existing infrastructure and service corridors, thereby slowing the encroachment on the “green” boundary to Auckland City.
NZRPG is ultimately defined by the success and sustainability of our projects. That is why our projects are as much about building strong local networks as they are about building wealth for our shareholders and customers.
Those networks in turn support and sustain us through being a part of the projects we create. Whether they are investors, business owners, residents, shoppers or visitors, their contribution and ongoing patronage ensures the long-term success of our business.
NZRPG prefer to support “Partners in Progress” projects whereby we are able to work with various community groups to achieve specific objectives/goals. The outcomes of the goals and objectives need to improve the physical or social environment in which we all live, work and play.
